eConsult
The practice is now live for e-consultations.
You can ask for help with a specific problem or condition, ask for general advice if you are not sure what your symptoms mean or request for administrative help for things like sick notes etc.
You will be asked the same questions a doctor would ask in a face to face appointment.
You will just need to fill out a simple form to get advice and treatment by the end of the next working day and you might not even have to come in to the surgery. You can do it anytime, anywhere, even on your mobile.
What is an Online Consultation?
Online Consultations allow you to contact your practice via the practice website or NHS App regarding non-urgent treatment at a time suitable to you. Our practice uses eConsult as its Online Consultation tool.
When you complete an Online Consultation form you will be asked questions similar to when you call the practice regarding your symptoms or requests so that our practice team can decide on the best care or next steps for you. The more information you give, the better we are able to help you.
If your condition changes or worsens, you should contact your GP, 111, 999 or Extended Hours service as appropriate. e-consult should never be used for urgent problems, or simply to request an appointment.
