Doctors
Dr Mark Dornan
MBBS MRCGP Cert Med ed DFFP
Dr Dornan is a GP trainer. He also works part time as vice chair of Newcastle Gateshead Clinicial Commissioning Group which aims to improve patient services in Gateshead.
Dr Alison Heaton
MBBS DCH DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Heaton is a GP trainer and a GP appraiser. Her special interests include asthma, COPD and diabetes.
Dr Tamzin Ross
Dr Ross has joined the team following completing two placements at the practice during her GP registrar training. Originally from south east Scotland, she trained in Dundee, and worked across Scotland and New Zealand prior to making the north east her home. She has an interest in public health as well as teaching and together with Dr Zamoyski, will be involved in the education of medical students at the practice.
Dr Stephanie Zamoyski
MBBS MClinEd
Dr Zamoyski joined the practice in 2017. She enjoys working in primary care and getting to know a range of people and their families. Together with Dr Ross, she is involved in the education of medical students at the practice which she very much enjoys. She was born and bred in the North East, lives locally and enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
Dr Joseph Mulroy
I qualified as a GP in 2013 and have previously spent time working in New Zealand, Australia and Zambia. I embrace the opportunity to work with patients on all aspects of their health, but I have a particular interest in looking after patient with drug and alcohol issues. I am originally from West Yorkshire but after moving to Newcastle to complete my medical training have always considered the North East home!

Sarah Glister
Trainee Nurse Associate
Sarah is currently undergoing a 2 year Nursing Associate (NA) training having previously worked as a healthcare assistant. This will allow her to be a registered healthcare professional and at the end of her training will be able to take on more advanced skills.
Healthcare Assistants
Charlotte Wigham
Charlotte joined the nursing team in 2018 as an apprentice health care assistant. She has now completed her care certificate, NVQ level 2 and is now a permanent member of the team.
GP Assistants
Louise Perrin
Louise joined the practice in 2016 as an apprentice administrator. She completed her NVQ level 2 and has since been a permanent member of the team. In 2019 Louise started her new role as a GPA (General Practitioner Assistant) which involves a more clinical role including phlebotomy, alongside her admin work.
